Clinical Nutrition
My dietetic internship was completed at UC San Diego Medical Center. With a strong focus in clinical nutrition, this internship allowed me the opportunity to provide nutrition care to a complex population of patients. I was able to work closely with, and learn from, some of the best clinical dietitians in San Diego County. From them, I was taught the critical thought process needed to determine the best therapy for virtually all medical conditions. During the clinical portion of my internship I spent 18 weeks in inpatient clinical rotation and 4 weeks in clinical staff relief.
